The location of the cottage was absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. It provided a great base for exploring the area, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby. the cottage was well equipped and had a cosy atmosphere, with a good supply of wood for the fire. the bath was amazing, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
The cleanliness of the cottage left something to be desired. We found it quite dog hairy, particularly in the bed linen and oven gloves.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had a cozy atmosphere. The owners had thoughtfully provided a welcome basket with special treats for our furry friend. The location was ideal, with two dog-friendly pubs/restaurants nearby and easy access to Kinder Scout for stunning walks.
The stairs were quite steep, so it's important to mind your head when using them. some parts of the cottage could have been cleaner and in better condition.

We had an amazing stay at this small and quirky cottage. The location was perfect, within a 5-10 minute walk of local pubs and restaurants. We loved the Snake Pass walk, which was just up the hill from the cottage and led directly to the Snake Inn. The facilities were fantastic, and the cottage was warm and cosy. The hosts put a lot of effort into the design, and we appreciated the little touches like fresh eggs, milk, and a bottle of bubbly. We would highly recommend Sett Cottage and would definitely stay here again!
All good! 👍
